Ahh Juice - this is the best letter.  I love the line "hand in chubby hand."  Yep, kicking those pals to the curb is the most awesome feeling!!  I "enjoyed" this, if you will (obviously not your pain), because you paint such a clear picture of what you went through.  I love the creativity and the cleverness of your letter.  I have written this type of letter before, but you did a much better job!

When you write "you don't have to go home..well..yes you do" is the reason when people ask me how much I have lost I re-phrase it and say I have "removed" 138 pounds.  Why? For that simple statement fat went home and is not allowed to come back.  If I lost her that implies that I will find her again and I am not finding her - I am removing her - as in deleted, erased, scrubbed from my system never to return!

My best to you!  JaimeK

Both tears of sad recognition and tears from laughter.

You said it all and said it so eloquently.

I am right there with you!

Hey, Juice-

You should consider trying to get your "open letter" published, be it in a health magazine, or your local newspaper.  So many people -both young and old- would benefit from reading this.  You have done an excellent job of personifying obesity and have helped us see that some "friends" are toxic and need to be set out on the curb with yesterday's trash!

I wish you much success, and look forward to reading more of your letters in the future.

Hi Juice

What an artful piece of penmanship!  I felt every moment of your journey and can relate to it all in such a big (no pun intended) way!    I wish you well on your new journey and hope to read more of your thoughts along the way.

Best wishes!

Robin
